Regional Sales Representative

Eastern/South Eastern/Central US

Position Summary

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for driving IrisVision’s products, channel and service sales to new/existing customers. They are also responsible for identifying and growing sales and awareness throughout the territory and coordinating and aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives to maximize exposure. Play a key role in developing/executing national strategy as well as identifying and cultivating new partnerships. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.

Critical Responsibilities

  • Establish product and services to customers within assigned territory
    1. Build and maintain long-term trusted advisor relationships with customers
    2. Drive business development for new channel, product and services to customers within
      assigned territory
  • Hit and exceed monthly/Quarterly Quota
  • Ownership of SFDC and metrics
  • Keen understanding of clinical conditions and the IrisVision solution
  • Present Quarterly Business Review to the VP of Strategy
  • Full region P&L responsibility for the territory
  • Provide weekly input to the VP of Strategy on territory trends and competitive analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; graduate degree a plus
  • Medical device, pharma experience a plus
  • Knowledge and relationships in Optometry and Ophthalmology a plus
  • Demonstrate strong leadership in sales, customer service and project management skills
  • Ability to retain customers and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Ability to manage a large multi-state geographically focused on key accounts, VA facilities, eye
    clinics, academic institutions and eyecare providers
  • Ability to drive business development for new opportunities
  • 2 plus years healthcare and sales experience
  • Ability to travel 60% of time
  • Excellent planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills
