IrisVision Warranty & Trial
Published by Skipfour LLC · Last updated July 20, 2026
The short version. Eligible IrisVision devices are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects, and you have a 30-day window to make sure the product is right for you. Because assistive devices take a little coaching to master, returns include at least one coaching session, and a restocking fee applies. Accessories may have different coverage, as described below or at purchase.
Your 1-Year Limited Warranty
This limited warranty applies to IrisVision devices and IrisVision accessories purchased from us or an authorized channel. For one year from the date your covered device ships — or longer where required by law — we’ll repair or replace, at no charge, a covered IrisVision device that proves defective in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. Accessory coverage may vary by accessory and will be stated at purchase or in the accessory documentation.
What is covered. A covered IrisVision device package includes the device hardware and included components we supply as part of that package. Separately sold accessories are covered only as stated at purchase or in their accessory documentation. Software updates and support are provided as described in our terms, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free software.
Repairs and shipping. Warranty repairs include U.S. domestic shipping. International customers cover shipping costs for warranty repairs unless local law requires otherwise. Some issues can be fixed remotely — that requires Wi-Fi, and without a connection our support team may not be able to diagnose or authorize a repair.
What’s Not Covered
Theft, loss, water or liquid damage, accidental physical damage, cosmetic wear, battery wear from normal use, misuse, neglect, unauthorized repair, unauthorized apps, non-IrisVision accessories, and anything that isn’t a defect in materials or workmanship aren’t covered. Separately sold accessories are not covered by the device warranty unless we say otherwise in writing.
A note on changes to the device. IrisVision runs in a locked, kiosk configuration on purpose, to keep it simple and reliable. Significantly altering, modifying, or reconfiguring the product — including a factory reset, disabling kiosk mode, or installing unauthorized apps — can void the warranty on the entire product. Please contact support before making any change to your device; we’re happy to help.
Your 30-Day Evaluation
We want IrisVision to be right for you. Customers in North America get a 30-day evaluation period, beginning the day your device is delivered. If it isn’t the right fit for your eye condition, or you’re not satisfied for any reason, request a return authorization within 30 days for a refund of the original device purchase price, minus the restocking fee and any non-refundable charges described below. After the 30 days, devices are no longer eligible for return or refund unless required by law.
Coaching comes first. Our coaches are here to help you succeed, and getting used to the technology takes a little time on both sides. Returns are accepted only after you’ve completed at least one coaching session with our vision coaches.
Restocking fees. $299 within the U.S. and $399 from Canada. A $49 restocking fee applies when Vision Cast is purchased separately.
Return condition. Returned devices must be complete, in good working order, and without cosmetic or physical damage beyond normal inspection use. Include all required components and accessories. Missing parts, damage, tampering, unauthorized reconfiguration, or a product condition that prevents remarketing or resale may reduce or eliminate the refund.
Coaching bundles. Coaching sessions or coaching bundles purchased separately are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise. If a coaching bundle is purchased with a device, the bundle is not refunded separately when the device is returned. Coaching bundles must be used within three months of purchase; unused sessions expire and cannot be carried forward, refunded, or extended unless we agree in writing.
If You’re an EU or UK Customer
Consumer law in the EU and UK gives you rights we can’t take away: generally a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase, plus a legal guarantee of conformity of about two years. Where those apply, they take precedence, and our coaching condition and restocking fees may not apply to you. Contact us and we’ll walk you through your options.
