IrisVision Welcomes Allison Mahan Sojka as Director of Marketing

We are excited to announce the newest arrival to our team, Allison Mahan Sojka, who brings more than two decades of marketing experience at game-changing companies which have re-set the standard in their categories in the medical device field. She has helped build some of the most notable brands in the rehab and assistive technology world.

Allison’s entre to healthcare marketing started with Game Ready®, an orthopedic and sports medicine recovery solution where she helped grow the company from a niche capital equipment product sold to professional sports teams, to a post-op orthopedic device for the mass market.

Allison then joined rehabilitative robotics company Ekso Bionics®, where was elevated to their Vice President of Marketing. There she led the company’s marketing efforts through their initial public offering and during a key transition from a developer of a novel assistive device to help people with spinal cord injuries to walk, to a rehabilitative solution to help those with broader neurological conditions to learn to walk again on their own. She then led as the Vice President of Marketing at LIM Innovations, developers of a disruptive new prosthetic technology representing a paradigm shift in possibilities for amputees; with a remotely customized prosthetic which adapts to the ever-changing needs of amputees.

Prior to joining IrisVision, Allison served as Vice President of Marketing with AlterG, where she successfully launched 5 new revolutionary rehabilitation products for physical injury patients and seniors.

Continuing on her journey in the field of medical devices, Allison is eager to make a difference for the vision-impaired community worldwide. We are looking forward to her expert leadership as we continue to grow and scale our company. Welcome, Allison!
