How do I change modes?

To navigate to different modes in the headset, either use button 1 on the headset (on the far left) or the top button on the remote controller. Using either button, you can navigate to each mode one by one.

If you prefer to use voice commands instead, press the trigger button on the remote. This button will activate voice commands, and you can simply say the name of the mode you’d like to navigate to.

How do I connect/pair the remote with the device?

To use the remote, simply power it on by pressing and holding the Power Button (remote bottom button). The remote will automatically pair to the device on its own, and when successfully connected, the device will say “remote controlled connected.”

How do I adjust the focus on the headset?

The Welcome mode is used to help focus your device; it provides a static image to help focus the display. Each lens on the headset has an individual focus knob. Use the knobs to adjust each eye until the image is as clear as possible, and you can also adjust your IPD in the Welcome mode menu.

How do I connect the device to Wi-Fi?

To connect to Wi-Fi, begin on the home screen of the device. Swipe down from the center of the screen, and select “Settings.” Next, select “Connections” then “WiFi.” Toggle Wi-Fi on, and a list of available networks will appear; select your network and enter your password.

The Inspire does not need Wi-Fi to work, however it does make the experience better and is highly recommended. For example, you will need Wi-Fi connection to use YouTube, receive software updates, and if customer support needs to access your device.

How do I charge the Inspire?

Ensure that the Folding Stand-Up Charger is connected to power using the charging cord and wall plug. Disconnect the Inspire Phone from the Inspire glasses and place the Inspire Phone on the charger. If the device is charging correctly you should see a slowly blinking blue light, if the device is misaligned you will see a flashing green light, and when the charger is on stand by you should see a steady green light.

As an alternative, you may use the cable from the Folding Stand-Up Charger with the micro USB type C adapter, included with the wireless charging pad. Plug it into the Inspire Phone after disconnecting the Inspire Phone from the glasses and then plug it into an outlet. By using this method the Inspire Phone will charge faster, usually within one hour.

NOTE: We do not recommend plugging the Inspire Phone into a computer to charge. The Inspire battery lasts 3–4 hours. It can last 3+ hours with continuous use, and it can last all day (8–10 hours) on standby. You can make the most of this time by powering the IrisVision off when you are not using it.
