Before IrisVision

Pam Watts Harris is a 66-year-old retired teacher who has been legally blind since February 2022. She was diagnosed with Wet Macular Degeneration in 2007, which eventually led to her legal blindness in 2022. While she has been legally blind in the other eye since 1989, when she was 32 and was diagnosed with macular hemorrhage, myopic macular degeneration. In 2020, Pam’s husband found IrisVision on their Facebook page and showed interest in getting it for her. After thorough research, she purchased the device in January.

After IrisVision

With IrisVision, Pam was able to see her loved ones again. She was able to see the colors, read her books, watch TV, use the computer, look at the memorable pictures and paint with acrylics as this is what she loves the most. IrisVision has helped Pam become more independent and made her life easier and enjoyable.
