Unfortunately, there is no treatment for early AMD, though there exist various treatment options depending upon the stage and type.
Some preventive measures such as eating healthy, exercising regularly, quitting smoking may slow down the progression of AMD.
Currently, there are no treatment options for late dry AMD, however wet AMD requires medications such as anti-VEGF drugs, treatments such as Photodynamic therapy (PDT), and other laser treatments.
